The solar ones always make me suspicious of investment scammers. As the article describes it takes a lot of energy to sequester carbon. That means vast amounts of territory covered by the solar collection panels. Everything under the panels dies from lack or sunlight. How many million acres of land would have to be covered to significantly reduce carbon in the atmo? Particularly when every time you cover an acre you are killing a bunch of plants that are also capturing carbon.
I'd be a lot more comfortable with this technology if the discussed how many acres of land had to be covered for each ton of carbon captured.
